Sarah And David, This goodbye sums up my emotions to the letter about being a musician in SA.” If it ain’t Country, Tejano, mariachi or cover music, then don’t worry about playing here…” It is so depressing as a musician and a writer. Might as well hire a DJ. I used to practice for hours and love to just play. Played with Eddie Cavazos for several years doing original Christian music and loved the creative aspect of that era. Haven’t done much of that lately, except for some studio work with Eddie. I know God has a reason he gifted me with the talent I have. And I need to trust Him and see where He wants me to go with it. I do get a new sense of fulfillment seeing my son taking up alto sax in band. He is really taking off fast and enjoying music. Just as I did when I was learning guitar.
For the record, I “listen” to your music and it gives me such joy to know that there are still real artist out in this world. I would love to be a part of it, if you guys ever get going again. (if I am not too old, lol) Maybe with the film and production you are doing, you can utilize You Tube. Like Pomplamouse or mysteryguitarman. They do cover as well as their own music.

Dear LJG, I was so happy to hear that you haven’t given up on your music. I saw your show at a bar off commerce street in San Antonio. I was deeply moved by your music. I wondered what happened to you. God is with you and so am I. People need spiritual teaching. Great new life and musical paradigm shift.

You both have touched my heart deeply. I looked longingly forward to your shows when I lived in New Braunfels years ago. I moved up North for college and have shared your music with friends here.
It’s wonderful what you shared about the ministry y’all are apart of with the young folks. You are right, it is eternal in worth. I trust the Lord will continue to put songs in y’alls hearts that can be shared with the hurting around you. I pray He bless you both and your family as you give of yourselves for the furtherance of His Kingdom.

Sarah & David, What a tragic loss to the world of music. I moved out of San Antonio five years ago, and I truly understand the decision you have made. Jeff has probably described how we feel the best. I must let you know that your 1st CD your gave me back at the Broadway Bistro is still trapped in my 1994 Cadillac stereo, which I listen to every day enroute to work. It brings me peace, and relaxation, prior to dealing with the world of EMS. I still have the memory of your touching rendition of Amazing Grace, on my birthday,which still brings a tear to my eye, when that moment flashes by. I will forever keep that in my heart. God bless the two of you.

Yay for Sarah’s writing! Yay for David’s composing! Life is so amazing… like those little Russian dolls… so much is inside of each experience, waiting to be tapped and brought forward. I’m sad for the loss of LJG but happy for your freedom to get out there and explore your creativity in new directions. I love you guys, and your journey has inspired me in all of my creative endeavors as well! THANK YOU.
